About Our 24/7 ALS Ambulance Service
Traveling to the hospital is usually the most perilous part in a medical emergency. The time interval between a cardiac arrest or road accident and arrival in a hospital can mean the difference between a patient who survives, is fully recovered or permanently disabled. Jaipur Vatika Hospital provides 24/7 Ambulance Service in Jaipur with a fleet of Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulances which are mobile ICUs, equipped, staffed and ready to initiate life-saving treatment before the patient arrives at our doors.
We are located in the Jaipur-Ajmer Expressway at Thikariya which is one of the highways in Rajasthan with the highest number of accidents. The NH-48, which is located between Jaipur and Kishangarh records an unequally high number of road accidents that kill people, mainly due to the fact that complex medical response time is too long to reach the site. The ambulance service offered by Jaipur Vatika Hospital directly fills this gap.
We have not ordinary transport vehicles in the form of our ambulances. They are set up as mobile emergency rooms, with the same life-support machines as our ICU. The distinction between a simple ambulance and an ALS ambulance is the distinction between transport and treatment - and we offer the latter.
Paramedic Team & Pre-Hospital Care Protocol
Jaipur Vatika Hospital has an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic in every ALS ambulance trained in Basic and Advanced Life Support. Our paramedic staff receive frequent simulation training in trauma care, cardiac resuscitation (CPR/ACLS), airway care, fracture care, haemorrhage care, and obstetric crises.
Our pre-hospital care plan is triggered whenever we get a call at +91-8209809753. As the ambulance is being dispatched our call coordinator gives first aid instructions to the caller, CPR, bleeding controls, and advice to stabilize, stroke, and seizures.
Importantly, our paramedics keep in touch with our Emergency Room physician on the radio. The ER physician gets real time data- mechanism of injury, vital signs, medication given, ECG, and mobilizes the relevant in-hospital team, prior to the arrival of the ambulance.

Why Pre-Hospital Care Is as Important as Hospital Care
The probability of survival after cardiac arrest is reduced by about 10 per cent with each 10-minute delay in the delivery of defibrillation. In the case of stroke, a 15 minutes delay will cost the patient 1.9 million neurons. These figures justify why the ambulance is not just another vehicle, but an important continuation of the emergency department on the road.
The Jaipur-Ajmer Expressway is a underserved clinical area. In case of an accident around Dudu and Bagru or Vatika Infotech City, the ambulances of central Jaipur commonly take 25-40 minutes to reach the location.
The ambulance of Jaipur Vatika Hospital (located at Thikariya, right on the highway) serves most of the locations along this route within 815 minutes. The 10-25 minutes saved in most instances are the difference between life and death.
Planned transfers are also covered by our ambulance service— high-risk pregnant women being transferred out of smaller nursing homes, post-surgical patients who need step-down care, and dialysis patients in the Bagru-Thikariya belt. Any call to +91-8209809753 is met with the same panicked ready reaction.
